Hi, my name is Shannon West. I am a pet portrait artist based on the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia.

I create original animal artworks using high quality acrylic paints on canvases of all shapes and sizes.

To commission a painting of your beloved pet, all you need to do is send me a photograph - or selection of photos - of your furry friend.

I am always very happy to work with clients to decide on background choices, colour schemes, styles and the right budget to suit every individual. While I appreciate a deposit, full payment is not required until the painting is complete and the client is satisfied. For distance clients, proofing can be arranged through photographs of the portrait sent via email or post*.

I have worked as a vet nurse and I am a volunteer with Friends of the Pound (since 2006).

*Please note that customers who require delivery of their pet portraits will incur postage/courier costs in addition to the commission fee.
